At Ingram Micro, I met the cloud—and I glimpsed my future. ☁️

I helped shape an e-commerce platform for a global cloud marketplace, enabling channel partners to resell services from Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, and more. I even built a Prezi 📽️ to translate the concept of “cloud” for internal stakeholders—clarifying it for them, and for myself.

That role taught me more than just acronyms. I learned how to think like a consultant by absorbing the principles of product management, business analysis, QA, project delivery, and cross-functional communication. 💡

One story from my time there that always stuck with me: one evening after work, I walked the half mile to the bus stop. I was on time, but the bus was early. I started sprinting—but it pulled away. Then, a driver in a red truck who saw the whole thing unfold pulled over. “Hop in,” he said. “I’ll catch it for you.” 🚚 He did.

That moment never left me.

It reminded me what I aspire to be professionally: the person who sees someone sprinting toward a goal and offers a lift. I want to be that for my colleagues, for emerging professionals, and for clients navigating complex transformations. Not just someone who shows up—but someone who gets them where they need to go. 🧭
